Beginning of my career

Today, as I was analyzing my career till date, I remembered my first day in my first job and those cherished moments. I was overjoyed when I got my post-graduation result. I had done really well, which was above my expectations. Once my result was out, I was waiting for an interesting job opportunity. One of my favorite teachers whom I respect a lot called me on my phone one afternoon and told me that today there are interviews scheduled in a college and you need to go for it.

I was not prepared for it but I took up this challenge and went for the interview. As I entered the college building, I saw curious faces that are commonly seen during interview times. Some of my friends too were there for the interview. I sat there and waited patiently for my turn. I was called for the interview. It went off well as I was satisfied with my performance. I did not expect much out of it as it was my first interview. After two to three days, I came to know that I was selected for the position of lecturer in English.I was happy and waiting for my offer letter.

The day I got my offer letter. I could not believe it and then I started with my journey. This journey took me to an interesting phase of life where I learned skills like communication, team work, interpersonal and made me the person that I am today. My initial days in college were good as there were no students and I had to do some administrative jobs. It was a great pleasure and joy to learn and understand the style of working from my head of the department, who was one one of my favorite teachers.

The real thing happened  when the classes started and I had to begin with my teaching job. I had to prepare myself well for my lessons as student came up with various queries.I taught grammar, poetry, short stories, letter-writing and communication to undergraduate students.  It was fun and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was a learning experience as I got to interact with young minds daily. Apart from teaching English, I was involved in many student activities. Teaching is my passion and so, I made sure that all my students enjoy what is going in the class and come out of college as better individuals.

Marriage

Marriage is a word that has been part of human society for ages together. It is a lovely bond that a husband and wife share. This marital bond helps the two individuals to be friends and stay together for entire life. When I decided to get married, I had many inhibitions, prejudices in my mind as every girl has. But all those things were bygones when I met my man of dreams.

My man is not perfect but he is the one with whom I can share my joys and sorrows. I have accepted him with his strengths and weaknesses. We too have our share of ups and downs in our relationship. I feel somewhere these petty issues helps us to sort out our lives and make our relationship stronger. Our issues for fights are simple like not finding enough time to spend with each other, why you will decide everything and so on. We fight and then reconcile as time goes by. At the end of the day, I'm sure that he will be their with me what may come I way. This sort of understanding  and trust has helped our relationship to grow.

Today, I'm happily married and enjoys his company. We thoroughly enjoy going out for dinners, having ice creams, pastries and chocolates  together and  shopping for each other. These simple moments of life are to be cherished in a marital relationship. I like my man as he is the one who is first to criticize me on some thing and simultaneously the first to encourage for a good thing that I do. I.m sure he is the one who tells me the truth and I know he will do that for the entire life.
