Cooking
We Indians are obsessed with food. Our day begins and ends with discussion on food. Cooking food is one of the most essential life skills that one requires to survive in today's world. When it comes to cooking , there are a lot of gender biases. For ages, cooking has been a women's territory. Gradually, one can notice a change that is happening with regard to men's attitude towards cooking.
Personally, I feel that cooking is a great stress buster. A simple meal cooked after a long day helps me to rejuvenate. I believe if you can manage to prepare a decent meal, you are good at various skills like time management. co-ordination, multi-tasking and so on.
A person may feel cooking is a simple activity that can be done easily. That's not the case. When a person indulges in cooking, he/she has to think about flavors, combination of ingredients, nutrition, and so on. All the five senses are used in various manners in the act of cooking.
Many of us such look at cooking as a mere day to day activity and overlook the benefits you get from this routine activity. Here are some of the benefits of cooking your own food:
- Eating healthy food
